Eventbrite - RSM2M: A Gateway To The Future

PLCI contributed to solve this need by interconnecting industrial modules to IP telephony and SNMP.  RS-M2M series developed by PLC helps to support communications on Internet-enabled industries efficiently, professionally and effortlessly. In our presentation, we will introduce our new Gateway and our new PLCI Cloud platform by making a real time demonstration. The RS-M2M talks in MODBUS through serial RS485/RS232 with industrial devices and transfers information to our cloud platform and SNMP manager. It provides relay outputs, OPTO inputs, A/D, ZigBee and TTL I/Os for other industrial applications. This practical demonstration will consist on reading information stored on our RS-M2M such as its configuration, ModBus registers, inputs and outputs. Besides reading and analyzing the information remotely, we will explain how to write and control the equipment from our new cloud solution.  This module is also interacting with Industrial Module (IM), a piece of software that is part of the IUC (Industrial Unified Communications). With the unified messaging system in place, our product is able to generate text messages (SMS), email and voice calls when any event occurs.
